“The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork…Ps19:1

This photo is raw, no filter no editing. Who needs that when you have an amazing God who makes stuff like this for us to enjoy!

So who saw the eclipse? This one only happens every 400 years  – anyway we dragged the kids out of their slumber at 11:15 pm and made them look up for 3 seconds before dropping them back into bed!  We do great field trips with our homeschoolers – they will remember this one for sure!

Here is a lame photo of what they saw – but check out the web for really great shots. This is a lunar eclipse – not to be confused with a solar eclipse – the earth was blocking the sun’s light to the moon. I know it’s all too much for this time of year when all anyone is thinking about is shopping, cooking, and chocolate. Anyway, it was a fun thing to see.

Praise God for His glorious creation,

Love and blessings, Kay
