Minus 9 Degrees
We awoke to another glorious day ! It was -9’f (-23’c).

Take a seat, don’t mind the snow, the sun is out !
Firstly, let me show you this lovely pic of the icicles that are hanging from every tree as far as the eye can see. At least the ones right around the house, because I am not going out there in that cold. I’m just looking at it through the window. I sent out my oldest kiddos to get these pics to share. Hope you like them !

“He sendeth forth his commandment upon the earth:his word runneth very swiftly. He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes. He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold? He sendeth out his word, and melteth them:he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow”
Ps 147:15-18
There is definitely a reason for everything. We just don’t always see it. I often don’t see it , or I need my hubby to point it out really clearly for me. But there is always hope . The ice melts, the water flows, and the ground will be covered with beautiful wild flowers in the Spring. word in our lives changes everything. His word gives life and hope. I am thankful for His word doing it’s work today.
On a lighter note – I have a funny story from the’ Chronicles of the Crazy Frazier Five’.
The other night I was taking my 3 year old on the ritual 10.30pm potty run. He was fast asleep but managed to stand up, and then sit on the potty at my word! Whilst waiting for the inevitable to happen, he suddenly opened his eyes and looked me straight in my eyes, and then pinched both my cheeks with his two little paws – repeatedly! While doing this he made a kind of squelchy noise. To top it all off, he finally twists the end of my nose between his thumb and index finger and says, “POP.” Stunned, I plop him back in bed wondering what would be going through his mind to do this to me of all people? Like I said everything has a reason – not sure if I want to know the reason for this episode though! Life as a mum of boys is never boring.

Have a safe and Happy New Year –
Love and blessings, Kay
